My view for the first morning. A large bull moose crossed 150 metres down the track - unfortunately my view was only 100 metres.....

The jampthund is a Swedish breed, especially trained to hunt 'elk'. A good dog is worth its weight in gold!

In a bit of a swamp - the mosquitoes and midges were rather more plentiful than moose!

Standing here, rifle in my hands, waiting for a moose, and along comes a car. The family inside all wave to me cheerfully - obviously this is quite normal!
